      1. 1 GT qual mech done need[ish] 1 rea, 1 thermo, 1 emag, 1 qmech
  3. Classical Mechanics:
    1. Thornton
      1. on page 69, just before next example. Interesting how easily the linear approximation falls apart.
    2. Goldstein
      1. done up to top of page ten…maybe should check on that one subtlety?
  4. E&M
    1. Griffith
      1. read up to page 90, just before 2.4 . . .the example problem used a ridiculous set up but was alright…I should do some problems.
    2. Div, Grad, Curl
      1. up to page 35, just before the “rough” proof.
    3. Jackson
      1. Page 34 just after eq 1.26. I need to ask someone about part of this, though…
  5. Thermo
    1. Fermi
      1. took notes up to eq. 40, bookmarked
    2. Carrington
      1. up to page 31, just before 3.5..Look at thermo homework later?
  6. QMech
    1. Townsend
      1. Read up to eq 2.20 on page 27
    2. Sakurai
      1. on page 21 [section 1.3] just before the matrix multiplication check
  7. Particle
    1. Griffith
      1. Several pages, see bookmark
  8. Astro/Cosmo
    1. Ballyntyne and Wise
      1. We’ll see at the end of the day…
  9. QFT
    1. Ryder
      1. 3 pages thus far…
    2. Zee
      1. 2 pages
    3. Sterman
      1. 1 page
    4. Weinberg
      1. 1 page
  10. QCD
    1. QCD and Collider Physics
      1. 1 page
    2. Handbook of Perturbative QCD
      1. 1 page
  11. Update at ~4:15: Done mech, done E&M, half thermo, half general. Will walk home then start on QFT stuff…I’ll have about an hour then before coming back for SPS.
  12. Update ~5:25: Walked home, ate, and am now done with all of the traditional stuff except the problems. Will read some Griffith’s and walk back to SPS.
  13. Ran six miles, warm up then 7:45 mile for 4 miles then cool down 6mph
